TERMS OF USE

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of MU20 World, including mu20.world, mu20.in and the MU20 mobile application (the “Platform”).
These Terms constitute an electronic record under applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules.
By creating an account, accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. About MU20

MU20 is an education and pre-collegiate community through which students may participate in MU20 programmes and events, access resources, join communities, interact with other users, maintain profiles and Passports, and use other educational and programme-related features. The MU20 mobile application does not contain in-app purchases or subscriptions. Programme fees, where applicable, are handled separately from the mobile application.
8. Intellectual property

MU20's name, branding, Platform design, software and MU20-created materials are owned by or licensed to MU20 and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit MU20-owned material except where MU20 has expressly authorised you to do so.
Your ownership of your own original user-generated content remains subject to Section 4.
9. Platform availability

MU20 may modify, add, remove, restrict or discontinue Platform features as the product develops.
Features may also differ according to programme eligibility, event participation, device, operating system or other legitimate product requirements.
We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available or uninterrupted.
12. No advertising or in-app payments

The MU20 mobile application does not display third-party advertising.
It does not provide in-app purchases, subscriptions or purchases of digital goods.
Programme registrations or fees, where applicable, are handled separately from the mobile application.
15. Changes to these Terms
2017 - 2020
We may update these Terms as the Platform, our practices or applicable requirements change.
Where appropriate, material changes will be communicated through the Platform or on the relevant webpage.
Continued use after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by applicable law.
2. Eligibility
Global Leadership Forum — Remote
You must be 13 years of age or older to use the Platform. Accounts for children under 13 are not permitted. If you are under 18, your use of the Platform may also be subject to requirements applicable to younger users under relevant law.
5. Acceptance of community rules
Before creating or uploading user-generated content, you must accept these Terms and the applicable MU20 Community Guidelines.
By using community functionality, you agree to continue complying with those rules.
If you do not agree to them, you must not create or publish user-generated content through the Platform.
6. Prohibited content and behaviour
MU20 has zero tolerance for content or behaviour involving:
Child sexual abuse material or sexual exploitation of minors
Sexually explicit or pornographic content
Harassment, bullying, intimidation or threats
Hate speech or discriminatory abuse
Doxxing or sharing another person's private information without permission
Impersonation or deliberately misleading identities
Spam, scams or fraudulent activity
Illegal activity
Content that promotes or facilitates serious harm
Content that infringes copyright, privacy or other rights
Attempts to deliberately harm, exploit or deceive another member
Attempts to bypass moderation or Platform safeguards

10. Suspension and termination
MU20 may restrict, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary, including where:
These Terms or Community Guidelines are violated
Another user's safety is threatened
The Platform is being abused or manipulated
Fraudulent or unlawful activity is suspected
Security or technical integrity is at risk
MU20 is required to act by law
Where appropriate, the nature and seriousness of the conduct may determine the action taken.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Subject to applicable law, courts in Indore, Madhya Pradesh shall have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms or the Platform.

3. Accounts and programme access
Top-Tier Global Agencies — Remote
You must provide accurate information when creating and maintaining your account and must take reasonable steps to keep your authentication credentials secure.
You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.
Creating an MU20 account does not constitute enrolment in an MU20 programme and does not automatically provide access to every Platform feature.
Certain clubs, communities, resources, events and other features may require participation in or eligibility for a particular MU20 programme.
You must not:
Access another person's account without permission
Misrepresent your identity
Impersonate another person
Attempt to circumvent programme or feature access restrictions
Interfere with the security or operation of the Platform
7. Reporting, blocking and moderation

Users may report inappropriate posts, comments or users using the reporting functionality available in the Platform.
Users may also block other users where the relevant functionality is available.
MU20 may use keyword-based filtering or other automated signals to identify potentially objectionable content.
MU20 administrators and moderators may review reported or flagged material and may:
Remove posts or comments
Restrict access to features
Suspend accounts
Terminate accounts
Take other reasonable measures necessary to protect users or the Platform
Serious matters may be escalated where required by applicable law.
MU20 aims to review reports promptly. The nature and urgency of the issue may affect response times.
11. Account deletion
Top-Tier Global Agencies — Remote
You may permanently delete your account through the available account deletion functionality.
Deletion is different from account deactivation.
Certain limited records may remain after deletion where necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance or legitimate operational purposes, as explained in our Privacy Policy and account-deletion page.
13. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Platform is provided to support MU20's educational, community and programme activities.
While MU20 moderates community functionality and provides reporting mechanisms, users remain responsible for content they publish.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MU20 is not responsible for losses arising solely from user-generated content or circumstances outside MU20's reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability or right that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
